hundreds?? that's literally astounding. gives me hope for the future!
Yeah, hundreds, after 4400 miles. At shopping centers, charging stations, campgrounds, hotels, your neighborhood, on the road and at stop lights. It's quite amazing. I had four young boys chase me down on their electric bikes to get a close look at my CT.

Maybe they know that you're a lawyer ?‍♂
:ROFLMAO: If they had a way to know, that might just be it. (Everyone hates a lawyer . . . until they need one, and maybe even then! ;)) The TRX definitely doesn't give away my profession, but I see a few other lawyers in this group, so my Cyberbeast might once I get it. Bring on all CT haters!

Haha. This reminds me of the days i drove a Hummer H2 SUT and got three types of reactions, ie hands up in the air as in "why', got several military salutes, and of course the finger, which landed me a few times on FUH2.com which was hilarious.

A guy in an ICE truck was checking out my Cybertruck as we were at the front of the line at a red light Thursday morning driving my young daughter and friend to school in the Cybertruck. I thought he was admiring it, the way he was straining to look over his passenger seat at me. When the light changed I accelerated quickly as I always do when at the front of the line. I don't drive any faster than the rest of the traffic flow, I just get to that speed quicker. I merged over left one lane then left another into a turn lane. Nothing crazy and not cutting off any cars because they were all way back there. When he pulled up next to me now on my right side two intersections from where I left him he gave me the middle finger. At first, I thought it was because I accelerated quickly but as I thought back to it I have driven that way in my Model 3 for five years no one has flicked me off. I prefer not to be surrounded by other cars if I don't need to, given all the bad drivers, so that's one reason I do it. The other reason is in 5 years of driving a Tesla it has never gotten old. When we needed a score of 100% for FSD I was driving like a Grandma and after almost getting into an accident every day because of drivers just being bad drivers next to me, and good drivers getting annoyed with a grandma-like driver, I was so stressed I gave up on my FSD score and just drove regular for me. Anyway, maybe it was a combo of my acceleration and the Cybertruck or maybe it was just the Cybertruck but watch out for haters out there because haters gonna hate.

90% positively love the CT, and 10% don’t know what it is and ask me about it. So far, 0% negative, thankfully. I pity people who feel like they have to let you know “your [insert object here] sucks” etc. They’re rude and pathetic. I don’t seek the attention, and have only been driving my CT for about a month now with low miles so far. However, I’m driving 100 miles south of ABQ into the desert along dirt roads this week for some training with a bunch of guys - and I’ll bet I’ll have more to say after I get back next week. ?

Ya if I compare smiles to middle fingers I'd say I'm about 1000 to 1. Smiles win.

Sentry mode caught some gems. Mental health is clearly part of it. People yelling at and flipping off an empty car is such strange behavior. Imagine getting upset and emotional over any other object, like a chair. It feels like maybe there's some jealousy mixed with unaddressed anger within themselves. I hope they get the help they need, and find happiness ❤

These are great. thanks for sharing. Although the first one is so quick I can't even see it. I prefer the one I got for several seconds at a red light. But please at least make eye contact if you are going to do that. Doing that without looking at me is just rude!

As for the girl she actually is not bad looking. I wrote a song for her. It's called get out of your car and into my Cybertruck.

Please ignore those jellyrolls. Welcome to our Cybertruck fraternity. Those finger salutes serve to remind us that we are leading humanity "to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport" -Elon Musk
?
Thanks Elon. Taking one for the team. One middle finger at a time!

...but I get a fair # of them in my TRX now.
Mostly I shake my head when some guy just has to catch up and pass me in his truck. I'm already going the speed limit, on my bike spending ~100W a mile and I'll just filter past them at the stop light.

I wonder how much gas they wasted to do it ^-^

Oh, the hate in this one is strong. Not one, but two middle fingers.

Warning: Do not play if you are overly sensitive, you don't like cursing, or you own a Delorean.

The responses I've seen driving Cybertruck around the mostly conservative rural areas of N.W. Washington State have been overwhelmingly positive. So many positive responses it's overwhelming.

I've been flipped the bird three times, all in the oncoming lane, but two of them were the same guy in an old beater white economy car on different days. He holds his "bird" right up against his windshield so I can see it with a crazed, angry look on his face, a real weirdo of a guy.

My response is always the same, an enthusiastic thumbs up and a big smile.

Are any of you with dark tint getting negative gestures? I wonder if it deters some of them; not knowing if they have your attention. My driving reactions are mostly cameras. I have noticed a few full-size truck guys roll their window down as they pass me, then roll it back up. I assume they're trying to hear it. There are a few people who try to get me to roll my window down, but there is 0% chance of that happening.
