9/10 I get positive reactions/wow faces/excitement. I got a thumbs down gesture (then he proceeded to get into a 15+ year old minivan so probably more around the excess of cost), shaking of the head (by another tesla driver (III)) and my friends making fun of me for driving an odd looking vehicle (not car people).

Overall in Ontario, Canada responses are very positive. Going to a supercharge garners a lot of conversations too.

Not complaining by any means. To me this is a part of ownership until there are many more on the road.

Interestingly, I got a Jeep wave today from a manly guy in a pretty nicely set up jeep… Wasn’t expecting that
That's expected.
Modified Jeep = fun owner = like Cybertruck

I had a lady in a old stock Jeep given me middle fingers, some what expected.

That sucks. I’ve unfortunately had to answer the question “daddy, why is that lady screaming at us?” to my young kids. It was really unsettling for them.

It’s unfortunate, but what I have found is, if you buy one of these, you are also buying a front row ticket to a serious mental health crisis.

Less important, but still a thing to think about is, you will have to encounter an insane amount of misinformation. The perception the media is trying to portray is that the truck is absolutely terrible.

The fact that with the bombing in Vegas, the initial reporting was that the truck just exploded. Some of those cited a report that a truck caught fire at a dealership in Georgia, even though that’s now being reported as arson.
This 100%. Really makes your wonder how many people have untreated mental health diseases out there in the United States and why is there so many people with mental health issues in the best country in the world. A mature adult shouldn't act like that or get triggered so heavily by something they didn't spend money on that they react in a completely crazy way.

I highly doubt this would happen in the Philippines, or China. (Worked and lived in other countries). Curios how the reactions has been in the Mexico market.

I’ve contemplated whether putting a Harris sticker on it could neutralize any of the hate fueled in politics. I’ve never been one to put signs in front of my house or put on bumper stickers for anything especially not politics regardless of how passionate I feel about it so I doubt I would. It’s just something I’ve thought about. Since the country is so divided politically, there no winning either way. Simultaneously calm those who were angry and make those who were calm pissed off. ?
a) As people are pointing out, I think we have to consider how this affects others in our family that drive with us would feel/react in the short/long term. Does the drivers reaction to it could help/hinder?

b) Alternative types of car stickers/signage on rear side windows and tailgate
... food for thought on whether this would be neutralizing for any % of them?

These obviously can be obtained in a variety of colors and variations.

So far, every time I've got the middle finger, it's from a driver of a Lesbaru. Not sure why they're so angry, but there seems to be something wrong with those drivers :)

Musk derangement syndrome. The TV told them - Elon bad. For what? They can't articulate. And if they try, it's all fake news and utter nonsense. Elon is right, and time will prove so. It's a shame people are so susceptible to the lies and propaganda.
No, Musk is gullible and has been doing things which are definitionally bad for some people.

So, no, it's not lies and propaganda.

First time, huh? ? Caught this little TikTok brain-rot loser on cam a few weeks ago lmao.

Context: I have absolutely no idea who this kid is. this was his spontaneous, natural reaction to seeing the truck... which is truly disturbing.

What are some of the examples?

No body is saying he's perfect, no one is, however the MSM only report on controversial topics which make their audience dislike him, I call that biased reporting and it's borderline lies and definitely propaganda.

This isn't the forum for that.

This isn't the forum for your political rants.

No, when someone does stupid things it is not biased to report those things. 'The media' rarely reports on his stupid takes, merely a few of them.

Here's a random day in his posts, just a few of them

This isn't the forum for this conversation. He does dumb things. That hurt people's feelings and hurts their ability to live their lives freely. Accept that as a thing that's happening and move on.

Really, you started "Elon bad" and then now you pull a "this isn't the place to talk about it".

You also just proved my point, why so focused on his mistakes? I acknowledged that he's done stupid things like comment on stuff when he shouldn't or don't understand fully. But overall he's a great person with common sense, who loves engineering and his country. Yet it seems like you hold a grudge over someone who you've known things only through negativity just as the video you shared.

I have seen many times you commented negatively on Elon, so since we have true free speech back in this country, I will respond whenever I see something I don't agree with.

(If you truely think talking these stuff is not okay for this platform, please just don't respond, though I think you should)

Really, you started "Elon bad" and...
...And no, I didn't. Elon is human, just like the rest of us. He's no less incapable of error than average, there's just millions seeing him do it in real time when he posts it.

This is not the forum for your political rants.
