Congrats to all of you picking up this week! I’m hoping I get a call soon…

Also post your info at the thread below if you haven’t already. It will let the rest of us VA’ers see where we are in line.

I know you got your VIN the same day I did. Just talked with the Service Center and my truck is expected to be on site on the 1st of May. I scheduled delivery for the 5th. 12 days and counting!

That’s awesome! Congrats! I’ll have to call them and see if mine is coming in at the same time.

So I picked my AWD up today from Tyson's. The rep told me that they delivered 11 of them today alone and it was the first deliveries they have done from that service center.

So this was my first Tesla, but honestly I was a bit disappointed. The truck was very dirty both outside and inside. There were a few pretty heavy stains that I am not sure I can remove yet in the stainless, the windows were so dirty it was hard to see out them on the ride home. There was mud in the bed and inside the truck. The reps were nice, but it felt like "there is your truck, thanks see you later". They spent no time going over the vehicle, I pointed out a few things that needed adjustment, and I opened a service request for those, but the inside where the truck was delivered was so dark it was hard to inspect it, so I drove the truck outside, and by the time I went through checking everything out, the door to the delivery center was locked and they went home. No one even stepped outside to see if we were okay or ask if we needed anything before they close.

For a 100k truck, I expected more, but was not surprised seeing how many others have had the same sub par experience. Anyone else have a better experience at Tysons?

I have had a similar experience at Tysons. I was going to purchase a used Model X from there about a year and a half ago, and it was in such bad shape when I got there I decided not to buy it. Took my check back and left. Pretty terrible experience there. I have not had that experience in Richmond.

I do want to say that the Tyson's people I did work with while there, were very nice, just feel that they could have spent 10 minutes on the car to at least try to make it's looks align with the cost. And the fact that they locked the door and left without even checking in was not what I expected after just spending the most I ever have on a vehicle.

Unfortunately this is the exact reason I selected Richmond for my delivery. I've had some issues with Tysons in the past (not terrible but not great). I assume it's because they are so busy. Back in 2014 - 2016 they were absolutely amazing.
