Got VIN today, Virginia

So how were your panel gaps? How clean and scuff free was your truck.

So I picked my AWD up today from Tyson's. The rep told me that they delivered 11 of them today alone and it was the first deliveries they have done from that service center.

So this was my first Tesla, but honestly I was a bit disappointed. The truck was very dirty both outside and inside. There were a few pretty heavy stains that I am not sure I can remove yet in the stainless, the windows were so dirty it was hard to see out them on the ride home. There was mud in the bed and inside the truck. The reps were nice, but it felt like "there is your truck, thanks see you later". They spent no time going over the vehicle, I pointed out a few things that needed adjustment, and I opened a service request for those, but the inside where the truck was delivered was so dark it was hard to inspect it, so I drove the truck outside, and by the time I went through checking everything out, the door to the delivery center was locked and they went home. No one even stepped outside to see if we were okay or ask if we needed anything before they close.

For a 100k truck, I expected more, but was not surprised seeing how many others have had the same sub par experience. Anyone else have a better experience at Tysons?

Delivery was great! It was raining just a little bit, but I was able to do a pretty detailed inspection before we left. Everything is nearly perfect. I may get service to adjust the front doors on both sides as it may be like 1/32 further out than the rear door, but that is absolutely about me being picky more than it being noticable. Great 2 hour drive home.

The truck is absolutely worth the wait. Absolutely.

Panel gaps seem flawless, and the truck was clean. It started raining right as we got there, so it didn't stay that way too long, haha.

@MeadowShade , good luck on your delivery today! I hope the truck is in as good of shape as mine was yesterday, and that you really enjoy it. Takes a few miles to get the feel for the steering in my opinion, but once you do it is so completely natural. Will be strange to drive anything else for me at this point.

I stopped by Tyco yesterday and only saw one new CT there (outside). I believe the vin was 84xx. So if that’s one of you, it must be close to delivery!

It appears at some point along the way my delivery location was reset (or I set it wrong) and my delivery is actually going to be at Tyco. My CT has been in Baltimore since last week. Hopefully there is movement soon.

No it was on the east side near the deliver area. I did see another one on the Tyco rd side near the east side but it appeared to be there for service since it had tinted windows and temp tags.

- loud, embarrassing squeaking coming from behind the steering wheel. Seems as if something is rubbing against the plastic cover behind it.

- Wiper blade most likely needs to be replaced. Had eleventy-billion straight days of rain since delivery and it’s pretty inconsistent with what section doesn’t make solid contact with glass.

- plastic trim on drivers side roof rail needs to be realigned.

Drop-off was Friday with “completion date” of tomorrow. I know they’re short-handed. However, if it bleeds into my scheduled PPF dates, I’m pulling it and bringing it back later.

Hopefully they get you back on the road tomorrow. Those all sound like things that can be done quickly though that place is always crazy busy… Where did you get your tint done if you don mind me asking?
