I noticed when I start driving, the GPS position of the truck isnt centered on the road and sometimes off by 20-30 feet, which trips my navigation. I’m not sure if it’s hardware or software related. Started happening since I updated the truck to 2026.14.6.7

Anyone else seeing this problem? I remember a while back I started having a problem with USB in my M3. I brought it to Tesla and they replaced the USB module just to find out later it was software related.

I think you can reset the module via service menu

I agree. It drifts 20-30 ft time to time. If I am only using the navigation, I wouldn’t mind, but on FSD it is taking exits that I don’t want to go.

I've noticed a lot more drift in all my GPS units. Did selective availability get turned back on? To me it looks like the drift is now faster than when selective availability was on. The other possibility is jamming. It is known some Russian satellites have hardware on them to jam and skew GPS signals. Other nations that have put up satellites could also have done the same. Also some tracker hardware interferes with GPS signals.

I am an ex-Electronic Warfare guy. Jamming is possible but the adversaries won't turn it on until there is a real conflict. The drift generally lasts about a minute or two and gets back to normal. if the exit is coming up while drifting then it is a problem. Since CT is vision based Tesla could correct itself if GPS tracks where there is no raod.

They wouldn’t be jamming over the US now, but there have been reports of occasional jamming in Europe, and not just right next to Ukraine.
