I've tried out ASS a few times now and it's SOO FRICKIN" COOL! Has anyone tried using the option that allows your truck to "always be ready for ASS"? Any appreciable energy draw to have this on all of the time? I'm going to try it I think and will post back but would also like to hear others experiences.

unless they have made it more efficient. Having summon standby on is not worth the extra battery loss. With it off, it may take an extra 10-20 seconds to get the car to recognize the initial summon command. It was noticeable the 10%+ percentage loss on my wife’s Y. That combined with sentry, it was way more than worth it. I haven’t tried it on the truck. I guess it really depends on how much you use it. If you know you are going into a store and can turn on standby for that visit, it would be fine, but I would turn it back off after I get in.

If I did this using Summon, I'd be afraid to show the video to my insurance company and ask if I am covered while operating my CT from the top of the truck in public on someone else's private property. ASS is really great, but I'll wait to see if in fact my insurance covers this Tesla installed feature (no I don't have Tesla insurance, at least not yet).

I have it selected and will report back. I wonder if you already have Sentry Mode running anyway if it will still use extra power since the cameras are rolling anyway.
