I’m waiting for night vision capabilities! Speed that up!

Plus for people like me who simply cannot adjust to the rear view being on the screen - no matter how hard I try..Sigh....
I think this has been mentioned before but there are several reasons, let's see what I can recall off the top of my head:
1) Ability to see behind you when at a light and turning left or right.
2) Ability to see behind you when the tailgate is down
3) Ability to see behind you when the tailgate camera lens is dirty
4) Ability to see what is in the bed of your truck or mounted to crossbars
5) Ability to see a wider field of view
6) Ability to see with more clarity at night
7) Ability to see a larger image in a more natural location which then frees up your main screen to show maps, FSD, etc.
There are probably more, but that's a few off the top of my head, and this is coming from someone who has driven without a rear view mirror at all for the last year +. Whether or not any of those reasons are worth it to you is of course a personal choice, but there ARE reasons to consider such a product.
I live in the desert so rain isn't a huge issue for me, but I've seen some covers that are supposed to help.Plus for people like me who simply cannot adjust to the rear view being on the screen - no matter how hard I try..
In addition, the location of the rear camera leads to it getting dirty real quick when it rains - it should have had a washer like the front.
Ken, have you tested this when it's raining by any chance? Does it somehow perform better than stock? Last time I went on a longer drive it was raining and my rear view was all but useless. I had to pull over multiple times to clean it.
Funny you should ask, 2 days ago I was caught in a sudden downpour on the way home from the gym and sure enough the tailgate camera had droplets on it that blocked 2/3rds of the image whereas the upper camera was crystal clear. That is only 1 data point and I will continue to monitor but yes rear visibility was better with the Hansshow mirror and camera mounted above the rear window.Plus for people like me who simply cannot adjust to the rear view being on the screen - no matter how hard I try..

I have printed with PET-G and initially with PLA. I use Bambu's software and Bambu always tell me to add support so I let it automatically do the supports. The original print I downloaded didn't have much in the way of support. Are you printing with our without supports?@TeslaKen I’ve tried printing the file you shared twice on my X1C with ASA filament and it has failed twice. What filament did you use and should I keep all the print setting the same?

Still working great. Someone asked if it overheats like some prior mirror so I tested it several times and it was never warm. So far it is working as it should and I haven't had any issues except one very minor one. I did a light show and it came on during the light show and then turned off after the light show. When I got back in the truck it momentarily lit up green for a couple of seconds and then rebooted and came up fine. It has only done that once but I will check it next time I do a light show. Otherwise has been flawless.Just ordered this mirror to replace S93, tired of waiting for replacement harness from TesStudio. How has it been working for you? Any issues?
I don't even notice the 2 wires tapped into the top of the mirror (power and rear cam) i suppose they could plug into the back but again hardly noticeable to me and I have a radar detector wire there anyway...the newer version has 2 plugs on the top of the mirror. they dont look good.
i like the sleek looking one without the front facing camera.
i was gonna buy it then only install the rear camera.
I don't know that I need the recording either but I guess it never hurts to have another source of video. This one does turn on and off with the truck and works well in that regard. I have no idea how the the tesstudio one compare or what model it is based on.that’s why I’m looking at Tesstudio one which turns off when the car is off Too.
I wish there is a simple one without any other function. I don’t need recording.
