Has anyone actually received this new aero appliqué to fix their leak . Local SC has no infor regarding this newly designed appliqué .This is what I am after. I didn't want to do the diy fix yet if there was an OEM fix.
That's a good question. I have heard of no one. SC didn't even acknowledge it in my service ticket.Has anyone actually received this new aero appliqué to fix their leak . Local SC has no infor regarding this newly designed appliqué .
Just dropped mine off this morning to install additional slats to hide the first one that has small holes in it, I can let you know how it goes and if it helps. On a side note what bed mat do you have and do you like it? If you don't mind me asking does it fit good. ThanksWhat is the verdict on this, I have seen threads, but I haven’t seen a Determinate answer.
After a heavy rain water gets into the bed, as you can see in the picture. I don’t see a lot of space on those slats as people have said. Is there a new version or seals that truly waterproof?
I picked my car up in June 2024, appreciate it

I bought the textile Tesla liner . Works well and creates the interior look on the bed which is my preference for general usage . Very easy to remove as well if the hard core steel bed is needed .Please do!
this is what I got:

Tesla SC needs a code for this “new appliqué “ if there is no code they don’t know about it . I have tried. Just get the usual response .You'd have to specifically mention the new aero flap seal for the leak. The extra slat won't do it. I have crappy grey foam glued up for the aero flap seal on mine. That's where my problem is. I got the slat fix twice and now have an extra slat...lol. Show them the new aero flap posted in this chat and see what they say.

I talked to my SC about this back in February or March. Showed him the pic of the new appliaue with the seal and he said he’d never heard of it and there’s nothing from Tesla.Has anyone actually received this new aero appliqué to fix their leak . Have a look at this:
I kind of followed what he did, basically just added some Home Depot weather stripping between the back of the top window and the Tonneau spacer/cover (not sure the correct name).
This pretty much solved the problem for me, a little water can still get in at the sides, but not too much.
