I too few days ago, addition slat added. But leaks still exist and looks like between glass and tonneau applique. Thinking about new service or DIY.

what they did for your car? Also just addition slat added?

The root cause of the leak is the rubber seal (some CTs had a foam strip) on the tonneau applique and where it meets the roof glass. There's a YouTube vid from a year ago where an owner showed how to replace it.

Yes I know, I have checked and leaks there, but I asked may be exist new repair bulletin for this problem or new updated part number for tonneau appliqué.

Ah, I see. I read someone posting back in September that there is a service bulletin for a new applique with rubber weather seals...but no one has posted confirmation they've gotten it.

I had my truck in for service about 3 weeks ago and should've asked about it but forgot. Plus, mine doesn't leak that much.

I tried to get mine sorted out at the SC and failed. They say it is within spec for water to get into about a third of the bed. My truck was built in August 2025 and does not have the missing slat issue (which we all know isn't the source of the leak, anyway).

I did the YT video DIY fix however it still leaks, probably didn't do it as well as a pro would...not sure what my next steps are, but I ordered a windshield rubber seal to apply to the top where roof meets appliqué as I really need a watertight bed for an upcoming road trip.

Reading service manuals and looking at parts to figure out what to request, there is now a service procedure for replacing the seal on the back of the roof glass, here: https://service.tesla.com/docs/Cybertruck/ServiceManual/en-us/GUID-0A0A9888-68CE-4757-8942-20EE631FC80B.html (seems to be from this summer) as well as finally a part number for that seal that could hopefully be ordered soon - wasn't there last week:
REAR EDGE SEAL
1995149-00-D

https://parts.tesla.com/en-US/catal...eference=b685e77a-0f90-4a81-a1a5-3f3417542754
The only issue is, the price of it is currently 0$ so one cannot order it to replace whatever foam and after market seals we might have all tried.

Hi all has anybody went in for service for a leaking bed the cover does an ok job but the back left and right corners get pretty wet

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can Tesla address this?

Much appreciated
The 'leaking' bed is a problem. First check that Tesla factory installed the 'first slat' of the bed cover - which is missing in early production. Mine was. You can tell when you look at the gap between the roof and slat [when the slats are closed over the bed]
If you see a track channel with spaced holes - You're MISSING the last slat. Tesla has a service bulletin to replace this.

If you do have the slat. IMO: The bed 'leak' is tragic. It does not leak - the water is CHANNELED into the front of the bed from the roof. Even when parked in rain, the water egress into the bed is horrible, no corner is safe.

This is compounded that water in front pools on the plastic bed deck and sloshes around wetting everything.

The water also gets into the back where the gate meetings the slat cover and wets anything set at the end of the bed.

'The bed is not waterproof' is a bullshit statement. A car sunroof is not 'waterproof' but it IS RAIN and WATER ENCURSION proof. Sunroofs have a channel to direct water around the cabin seal and out of the vehicle thru a drain channel to the ground. It does not let water flow into the roof/cabin layer and find whatever path to settle into.

The CT slat system seems to have *some* gutter water channel elements - but is it not fully vetted and does not work. It is a first iteration - that needs update.

It should not at least not wet anything in the bed in rain, I can understand the seal to the tailgate allowed to leak down, however there are no provisions for that water to go out anywhere but back into the bed and slosh around.

Also, 90% of the time my CT is backed into my sloped driveway - so the water incursion is worse and the bed slope is offset by the driveway slope. [Cause Tesla put the charge point on the rear end of the CT].

My rant, Happy Holidays!
Jack

Please stop reiterating the missing slat as the cause of water leaks. It’s not. It’s the seal where the tonneau appliqué meets the roof glass.
True. I fixed it in 20 minutes soon after delivery and my bed has been dry through 18 months of parking outside in the PNW rain. I've had a bed full of hand tools, corded tools, and cordless Milwaukee power tools for the last 6 weeks of rain. No issues.

By making sure the seal @koolio referred to was continuous. The foam strip had two gaps in it that I plugged with a little unused foam material from either end.

No more leaks.
