@btcrealm (y) thank you!

Exactly what I was thinking got the mud up there - I guess if you're doing something like this then next stop is a creek or lake to clear some of that out. The car wash isn't going to get that out of there. Seems to me if you're off roading a few times of year that mud will build up and before you know it you will have your own cyber biom with all sorts of fun plant life and critters catching a ride everywhere ????

With that amount of mud salt and water on all those electrical components will definitely create issues .its frankly on every component in the front . Absolutely no doubt . Just a matter of time .

That ain’t no bioweapon defence mode …

more like bioweapon lab culture mode …

Forgive me if somebody already asked ... but ... I am curious why you would tackle such an expensive repair yourself? Why not just file an insurance claim for the collision with a deer?
This happened in December, I'm still waiting on the body shop till the middle of next month. Every time I drive and use my left turn signal it yells at me and it has been working intermittently (yes well before the mud). Per the manual it was an easy replacement. I just found out the hard way that it isn't quite as easy as the manual says.

It’s smart to maintain $5k deductibles on all insurance policies - way cheaper, and I would NEVER make a claim for damage below that amount anyway - to maintain lowest rates and zero claim history. We’ve had a few “events” and paid out of pocket for repairs up to $12k rather than making a claim.

Has anyone else taken out the Frunk liner and seen a similar amount of dirt on all the electrical components .
Based on the photos shown it might be prudent after a winter season to clean all that mud salt etc … otherwise as you know components don’t like salt mud and water ..

Underhood connectors and modules should all be sealed. My vehicle frames have rusted out before ever having an environmentally caused electrical issue.

Everyone wants to know if “matrix” headlights

wen matrix? ??
I think it was Wes that said they would be a future hardware update in a post on X. Likely no one in service will know anything about it until it actually happens though.
