Hello everyone, hoping someone has had this issue before. 6 months ago had a creaking sound start that has gotten much worse, already had three SC visits to try to fix the issue, including door alignment, replacing white door trim, and last visit replacing window actuator. Sound is still there.

Anyone has a similar experience? It only happens on accel/deceleration. Captured it on video, seems like it’s coming from 2nd row right passenger door area. Could it be the door latch needs tightening?

The video is not playing for me but based on your description, I had a similar issue. My service center wrapped the latching part with black athletic tape and it went away. Seems they need to redesign that part. Or apply a thicker plastic coating on them.

I FIXED the issue! So if anyone is having the same sound, spray dry lubricant or WD-40, turns out it’s the door latch all along:

I came here to say try dry lithium grease on the door latch. Glad you figured it out and let us know.

I had mine in for service twice for this on the driver's side front door. After panel removal etc I was told they applied grease to the latch. When the rear door started creaking I just applied some white lithium grease to the striker and the latch and the sound went away.
