Hey all,

picked up my beast today and service told me it was all hooked up and just remove tape.

Upon entry, I saw the lightbar in my menu and assumed that meant they did connect it. But this pop up is confusing?

That message displays when I try to turn on any lights on bar

So do I need to go through b pillar removal and install process now?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The controls for it migrate to “lights” menu if I’m not mistaken. Where you would change the color of your dash trim lights roughly.
You can still turn it off or uninstall it from that “outlets and mods” menu but you’re looking in the wrong place I think.
Take that with a grain of salt from an AWD owner with a Chinese knockoff lightbar.
if I had one in my truck I’d be going outside to grab you a photo.

To me, it seems like they connected the wiring to test the lightbar and make sure it works which added it to you interface. Then they disconnected it for liability reasons and the computer senses that it isn't installed anymore.

I would check the b pillar for the connection.

AU742 may be right but before you go unbolting stuff and pulling off trim (which is incredibly easy btw) , look in the lights menu. When I helped my friend activate it in his cyberbeast we had to connect the pillar connector, but then it still displayed exactly as yours does.

That’s how im trying to turn it on in lights menu.

That’s my conclusion too, I bet they tested and activated it, then unclip for liability reasons

You’re welcome. That’s what I love so much about this community.
I’ve met some very smart people here.
Note, I don’t count myself as one of those but they are definitely here.

This is absolutely ? correct the lightbar needs to be connected most likely at the B pillar connector which means you shouldn't have to do the soldering of the wiring up top.

Whoops just saw you did that and now it works, enjoy!

Can anyone post the latest connection instructions? I got mine installed today and they said they would email them but I haven't seen anything yet.

Pop B Pillar and just connect the plug, then you’ll be good to go. Tons of YouTube videos on it also.
