My only thought about a wrap is that I wound have to start worrying about the outside of the truck like a vehicle with paint. Rock hits will pit or chip the wrap. Scratches will be visible. I love the idea of a wrap but right now I never think about the outside getting hurt from little things.

I agree completely. I think the wraps look dope but it creates something to worry about when there wasn’t one before.

I'm sure I would have already ripped the wrap off with all the bushes I've scraped up against going down the forest service roads. I love the stainless and no paint. That's why I purchased the truck.

I am warping in mine so I can see if a 275 rolls of wrap is any good for the folks on a budget.. truck paid off but we have to spend an arm and a leg to wrap it

Dig the black, but like most in the thread, the industrial look is for me.. I park it anywhere and no dings to worry about..

I got mine wrapped. I wanted to semi personalize it.

Of course the truck didn’t need it, just like I didn’t need the truck.

It’s a want, a desire

I do think that some day down the road I will try a wrap but only when I have money to burn. Wife really wants it all blacked out.

Exactly and that was the debate. We did it for fun, but now I realize that I need to be careful around the brushes or trees (due to sap droppings) etc..

I like the metal look personally. I'd consider wrapping if there were 1,000 CTs in my town and I didn't know which one was mine in the parking lot. Until then, I'm keeping it naked.

If/when I do wrap, black is off the table. Locally I've seen several black wraps and one white. If trying to make the truck your own, black is the opposite of that, there's a ton of them already.

Exactly!

It's hard to enjoy off-roading when you cringe inside every time a branch drags across your expensive paintjob or even your $5,500 cling wrap! The Cybertruck has greatly improved my enjoyment and mobility on those kinds of roads that wind through amazing natural beauty, away from crowds and people.

How did my mobility increase? Often, the smoothest line involves scraping against some brush on the very edge of the road. It's either that or slow way down and drive right through the big potholes created by all the other trucks driving through the same pothole that just keeps getting deeper and deeper, the more trucks that drive through it. With my F-150 I would cringe every time a branch scraped up against the paintwork, so I would have to slow way down and take the beating of the pothole. With the Cybertruck, I just maintain my speed and drive on the smoother edge on the margin of the road, parting the roadside brush away effortlessly.

At first I was worried that the plastic fenders and mirrors would be ruined, but after inspecting them, I noticed how tough they are. It looks like all those scratch marks will be able to be polished out if I ever tire of them with some very fine (400-800 grit) sandpaper. And of course the bare, un-coated stainless is super hard and easy to maintain. The uncoated metal of the Cybertruck just suits cruising through these rugged environments, even when caked in mud and other abrasives.

And when it comes to leaving your vehicle parked in sunshine, the UV resistance of the bare, uncoated metal is unmatched!

I’ve been enjoying mine non-wrapped since April. Scheduled my wrap with Tesla for next month
