Mostly a myth but if you Supercharge cold locally, without pre-heating the battery, it could conceivably cause the Battery Management System (BMS) to allow more power than ideal (at that battery temperature) for expediency's sake. Even in this case it wouldn't be enough to ruin a proper battery, so it looks like your battery had a manufacturing defect to begin with and that caused the short life.Has anybody heard not using a slow charger and using a fast charger all the time damages battery??
which is what i did from sept when. I got it untill now using the 1 year free and now this happend out of no where. When i got the alerts and it said would not charge i took it to the chargin station and charge port would not even openI exclusively supercharged for about 9 months, less than 5000 miles, thanks to the 1 year supercharging deal.
Anyone with experience here, what happens next? I put in a service ticket. The error cleared but I don't plan on driving it until I take it for service. Would it not charge basically? I just charged yesterday morning and on the 3rd trip of the day got the error.
