Any thoughts on installing spare tire using this or similar on hitch instead of using bed space?

I lose 100 kW in efficiency with a hitch mounted bike rack on my TMX.
That is also my big concern. The rearview camera is biggy too.
Too bad they didn't another camera above the bed and let you pick either one for the (backup camera or rearview mirror).
