They didn't refuse. The deal fell through.
I'm actually excited to see what it will be. GM learned long ago to under estimate the range. The original volt was a hard lesson for them. The range topping Hummer EV is supposed to be 1,000HP and have over 400 miles of capability. It will be interesting how undercutting that range stat is. If price is close and range is close then the Cybertruck as a true competitor. We'll see when it actually hits the market.
