100% agree with FSD. If you're in a situation where 'you' would put on the brakes or slow down, do so. FSD will most certainly plow right ahead. Plenty of situations I would have rear-ended someone.

The diagram helps explain the scenario, including the small typo that threw me off--"pellets" instead of "pallets." I was think you guys have big "pellets" in CA! Glad you shared the story and avoided a really bad result and day.I drew this diagram to illustrate what I found to be the most interesting and disturbing thing about the incident was how the pellets were stacked or more importantly is the direction of the stack! I don't see is how they fall out of a moving vehicle and fall in a direction that is 90 degrees to the travel direction. I think it's possible they were placed there intentionally, and they were just making sure to block the whole lane so you can't swerve around it and avoid it. And these were good quality pellets possibly made of fiberglass painted gloss white with red lettering. these didn't fall from a pellet collector type that go's around looking for wood pellets these are not the disposable kind the FSD never saw them I don't know if it even realized how close it came to fucking up my truck. I didn't even get an intervention feedback report notice nothing. how do I find out if it made a recording of that. I would like to review that and confirm the fall direction of the pellets. The part about the train in my diagram is that train tracks are directly above this point where the pellets were and it dose travel more or less in that direction. except they were under the tracks and a 30 foot fall its highly unlikely they all land touching each other let alone stacked how they were.

I don't even need to try. All I have to do is tell my life story up to now. Because I'm not done yet, but I lost track of how many times it was almost over. But the split-second reaction or thoughtful precaution that I took was the right one to save me. other times it was pure luck. I mean luck that I escaped unhurt. not that I got into that mess. someday I'll write a book about it.You should be a movie writer
DUH!I just used FSD since mid November on city streets. After starting it my destination was just 1.5 miles away and a left turn coming 100 yards after starting FSD. Light is red. Truck stops. Green light and arrow come on and FSD waits to go and waits to go.... I apply pressure to accelerator and it gos only to turn to sharp into oncoming traffic and I had to veer to the right to avoid hitting an oncoming car. I like FSD but you must be totally aware and ready to "assist"
I put in a larger memory stick$122.000 before tax and financing fees and they couldn't include enough memory to record all driving for a week or 2 even a month just record everything for a month. when it's been a month let us decide what to erase and what to save but have enough memory for a few months for backup.
I don't think that's too much to ask!
yes, bigger memory stick is in order But I'm taking it another step further. I've installed my own independent dash cam from Garmin. Simply can't trust Tesla to have my best interest in mind.I put in a larger memory stick
Clearly nonsense. I was skeptical of your entire story as you want to place 100% blame on FSD and the idea that it nearly killed you.Tesla don't give A shit what happens to you and if you're protected.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! Now allow me to respond. Now you're calling me a Lier and incompetent enough to work a dash cam! That Is total nonsense. The fact that I do not have any evidence of this Life-threatening event! Is precisely the topic of my argument. while driving in FSD a vehicle that comes equipped with something like around 15 cameras. news flash FSD requieres cameras to work and they automatically record at least 10 mins back from any incident. So, the fact that any footage of this potentially deadly event is missing only one day latter is uncomprehensible to me. I have lots of video before and after the event on days that nothing happened, I have an overabundance of footage. which means I must know how to turn on the camara. video should have been saved and flagged as important automatically instead the opposite was done (remove and destroy quickly!) considering the details as I described. did I read the terms of service?Clearly nonsense. I was skeptical of your entire story as you want to place 100% blame on FSD and the idea that it nearly killed you.
Yet here we are, someone who isn't competent enough to understand how to work the dashcam feature of the vehicle.
Next time bring video proof. Otherwise, your story is nonsense.
p.s. - you are responsible for supervising FSD. Have you read the actual terms of service? No?
There aren't 15 cameras. And it's baffling to me that you think anyone is going to believe you are competent enough to own an $80,000+ vehicle, which happens to be the most technologically advanced in the entire world, and you don't know how to save a dashcam clip with honk of the horn or a press of the button?Thank you for sharing your opinion! yes, I know that the supervising driver is responsible for the car's stupid moves. I am just pointing out that maybe it shouldn't be that way!
