OP, what oddities are in one and not the other? Later VIN better built?

I have two CyberBeasts currently and use both daily.

One is a 2024 CB with vin in the 49k range. The other is a 2024 FS CB with the vin in the 39k range. I have a fairly unique situation where I can see if oddities are just in one CT or in both. I wanted to share a couple I notice.....

Air suspension: Recently I have noticed in both, at any given random intersection stop I will feel the air suspension do something. A quick 'bump' if you will. Neither have done this until recently so curious if anyone might have further info.

Ride quality: I have of course had them both in for service. (always a pleasant experience) - I was given a non-beast loaner on one of the visits.
I live in a rural area on a roughly paved road and the AWD loaner was much smoother. No hard knock sounds on ruts and so forth which are normal in both my beasts (and in my 2022 GMC 2500HD for what its worth)

And a couple questions for you guys on things that bug me due to my lack on knowledge or a missing feature......

First and foremost - FSD, my address is shown in a location on GPS that is maybe 1/2 mile or less away (think rural)
- when FSD gets to what is marked on a map as my address it stops - is there no way to teach it a custom route and then have it repeat in the future kinda like a waypoint but with self mapping for non-marked streets?

Secondly - messages - I am an iPhone user and most of the time in both trucks I get a text, tap the blue reply and talk and then tap blue reply again and voila, its sent. But there are days that it will text to speech my reply and I hit the blue again for send and bang, a red X and message not sent. Any input on whats happening here (even if its just me)

Finally, in one of my trucks I need a laptop and using one on the center console was absurb. I can report that the universal RAM kit works nice. Expensive but I tried a number of the others on Amazon first and this is the one that I kept.

Thanks All, looking forward to the experience of others.

None, they are literally identical. If the badging on the right side of the dash wasn't different I would not know which one I was in......

Yeah, no. I'm going to disagree with you on that.

No such issue exists on my beast. Unless I've never accelerated over a bump, which is unlikely where I live. I heard Kyle's bump in one of his videos (sounded like shaking a can of spark plugs), and I've never heard anything remotely like that.

I mean, it could be so subtle that it doesn't bother me, but then it's not really an issue anyway. I've also never heard anyone I've driven anywhere in my beast mention it.
To put this issue to rest if anyone in New Jersey with the beast claims they don’t have this issue please let me know and I will meet up with you to compare. I’m in Jackson, New Jersey, but will drive an hour to prove this out.

I'd love if there was a Beast owner in Western NY that didn't have the acceleration bump/crash issue. I'd pay for them to go to the service center with me, so we could compare both rides with the technician. They'd presumably either need to fix my Beast or give me a new one that doesn't have the issue based on the recent buybacks we've heard about. There's one spot I drive where I can recreate the phenomenon every single time I pass it.

Any Beast owners willing to show up and do that? I'd compensate as needed.

...though I am skeptical a non-thumping Beast exists, I truly think it is just how they ride.

1000000000000000000% exactly the same for me on all counts.
Central NJ here. Willing to compensate!

Ok, maybe I'm missing what you guys are hearing. When I'm out and about today, I'll see if I can trigger it. Is this what you guys are talking about?

Out Of Spec CT Thunk (youtube)

I can find a speed bump somewhere, too. Just accelerate over it? And you get that kind of rattle? (and you guys are sure you don't have a case of empty snapple bottles in your frunk :) )

No rattle. It's like a small bump or imperfection becomes a much larger bump. Almost like a small curb. Under acceleration only. Not during cruising. I don't have a rattling noise at all it's just very jarring.

Ok, so accelerating over a speed bump or pothole would do it? So I should be able to replicate this at 5 or 10mph over a speedbump in a parking lot?

I'll add the note here that I'm usually in chill mode, and I think low suspension mode.

Probably easier to replicate on beast or standard accleration as it's acceleration dependant. Definitely not WOT but it happens under acceleration for sure. Suspension height doesn't matter.
Also not really speed bumps. More like uneven pavement or a small pothole or uneven service.

I have an AWD - so probably not relevant to this conversation. However when i go over the speed bumps every day dropping my son off at school, if I hit them at 19 mph or lower, I go over softly. at 20 to 22 its pretty rough, 23+ its like I am hitting a curb. It seems like the air suspension becomes much more stiff at that speed. I have never heard anything like that out of spec video though. - odd that an extra motor would cause something in the beast to have such a sound.

I ran some errands this afternoon in beast mode, randomly stomping the go pedal at random speeds from 10mph to 50mph. All it did was knock everything in the truck to the back, and get my wife motion sick. Oh, and it annoyed the dog. I did not hear any clunks, thunks, or rattles other than things flying around in the truck.

I didn't do it over a speed bump or railroad tracks, though. I'll look for some potholes for the next drive.

I keep ride height at low and do not have this issue with the bump or noise, sorry. Sub 10k VIN if that matters.
Same. 11k VIN and almost 18k miles since last July

The thud 'or bump' sounding like its all CB and my experience on a thump road agrees....

Someone mentioned an out of spec you tube that mentions it. I went and watched all his stuff (pretty cool videos) and he mentioned baja mode on the street. I played with that today and wow - how fun! Total 'delinquent' mode - but so fun, it does smoky burnouts from a dead stop and slides like an old school car when you nail it in a corner. (loved the fact that costco was closed today, great parking lot lol)
