I just got invitations for my second and third CT reservations, anybody else?

Yea I figured, they have AWD models ramped up but that is not the case for Beast . It seems most ppl who think Tesla is down the the end of the reservation list and are sitting on trucks are only AWD owners

Yeah? I haven’t really focused too much on what was actually being delivered but I’m not shocked that more AWD’s would be rolling out than Tri-Motor Beasts!

$20k to go faster than I ever need just doesn’t make sense for me! My plan from the beginning was AWD! Come on Tuesday!

I guess they don't want to insult you with a $60k trade-in and show their hand on the end of FS. They front ran the market on Model X and S with super low trade in values right before the big price drops.

I made three reservations (one during the reveal and two more a bit later). I got my first back in December (second wave) and delivered truck in February. Now I just received emails from Tesla that my other two reservations are ready to configure. Curios if anybody else got more than one invite at this point as well.

Fwiw I don't really need more than one truck, especially at current price

Appreciate you sharing this. I have a second registration that just came up and I was thinking of doing the same thing to upgrade from my AWD to a Beast and keep the benefits of FS.

I put in a brand new reservation just a month or so ago... Got the invite last week.. I want a beast and know it will be forever once they start making the cheaper ones with everyone taking them up on that. I ordered a beast in white, but figured i'd let it ride and changed it to gray... Now lets see how long it takes... FYI, i input my awd as a "trade" so lets see what they are offering for it...

I received the email for my 2nd FS reservation last night. I had originally configured it as a beast but I went through and ordered it as an AWD / Tactical grey / AT tires instead. The first one (ordered on 6/21) with the core tires was taking too long (almost 2 months!) to get a VIN... Let's see what happens.

Why would they take it? Sell it third-party if you want to upgrade, but Tesla just auctions things off and typically gets less than the used market, therefore making them pay less. By doing so, they are setting a low used market for their year 1 vehicle.

It's smart for them to reject it.

Keep in mind there is still the one year resale restriction in place.

That's why you won't get a trade-in offer. You're not legally permitted to sell it as of yet and a trade-in is a sale.

Practically, they probably won't want used Cybertrucks to list for sale until they have inventory and demo units up for sale on the Tesla web site. Some time after that they'll put up used listings. My guess is that won't be until Q1 2025 as the first real shipments of Cybertruck were in Q1 2024 so twelve months later.
