They didn’t have the latest software if there were no electronic Lockers. Also, could have gotten more accurate KWh usage from the screen than doing calculations, no? They need a bit more time to become familiar with the truck, but overall not a bad job for owning it only 2 days. ??

It seemed to do well and comparable to most other EV trucks they have tested.

The part that stood out was a low regen rate downhill. It might be an a testing or calculation error. I know when FLT tested CT towing a couple months back they made an error in the efficiency calculation and never corrected it or posted a note on the video.

I didn't like how he was staring at the "set right steering wheel button as brake controller" and then said "They didn't make the brake controller a physical button".

Well, owners, CAN you set up the scroll wheel to be a physical brake controller?

TFL is a clickbait hack job. Just the worst.
I agree. Same with the guy that sold his 'house' to go on a trip and live in his cybertruck.
I dont want to ding his dream but its for clicks and is cringe to me. I get people are trying to make a living with clicks and likes.
But at some point, its just a vehicle.

They did the acceleration test on "CHILL" mode
They did the downhill test without the max regen setting
I believe they know better than this
Of course they know better. And you can tell their anti-Tesla bias by their comments.

The other thing they did is used the excuse that their Weight Safe hitch didn't have enough bumper clearance to mount it in the usual manner, so they had to turn it upside down, raise it as high as it would go in that mode, and adjust the Cybertruck suspension on the highest driving mode to compensate (which makes zero sense).

This left the trailer angled upward with the Cybertruck in the highest suspension mode, terrible for aerodynamics! They would have been OK if they had simply run the Cybertruck in the low mode (because the trailer was a relatively low car carrier). Towing efficiency is very sensitive to the attitude of the trailer, and TFL people know that.

TFL channels have always had a persistent and obvious anti-Tesla bias, back around 2018 they even purposefully backed their Tesla Model 3 into a concrete wall so they could do a series on how long it took to get repaired. They used an independent body shop and had errors ordering parts, delays, etc. But they set up the "accident" so that it looked like an actual accident, not a purposeful hit job. But they present themselves as a place to learn the truth.

People that lie and deceive for money are the scum of the earth and they are doing a huge disservice to something dear to me, cleaning up our cities and highways so they are not dangerous, toxic places that cause people to get sick with diseases like asthma, COPD and even early death.

It goes far beyond regular clickbait (which is simply being overly dramatic to get more views).

All the TFL channels are actively trying to slow down electrification/protect ICE sales. They have decided to pretend to be fans of electric vehicles, or at least unbiased "truth-tellers", while persistently not giving them a fair shake in many subtle ways.

Many seem unable to see this, they are blind and gullible to the ways of the world.

I actually think that test is nothing special, All EVs and and any modern truck will do well on the test. Also comparing results on a different day, different state of charge when they results are so similar basically shows that they all relatively the same. CT did well that's the only conclusion, I would not look deeper into it.
