You're not going to be locked out of FSD updating. I'm not aware of any update in Tesla history in any vehicle that has locked anyone out of new features when they come out.
"Locked out" might be a strong statement but there have been plenty of times in the past where if you got ahead of the FSD releases it would take longer to get it. Fact is FSD has not been released on the 2024.26 branch yet. I happen to believe when FSD gets released on the CT it will be on the 2024.26 branch but I can also easily convince myself it will still be on the 2024.20 or 21 branch in which case those on 26 will have to wait on FSD catching up.

My update went away when I didn't accept after a few days.
Looks like 2024.26.3.1 got pulled. It's not showing as an update for me any longer. I'd like to think it's because a 2024.20.X variant with 12.5.X is around the corner. But I am guessing that's just wishful thinking. Probably they found issues in 2024.26 and pulled it. ?‍♂
Mine went away too not sure that means it got pulled as it is still going out to the rest of the fleet. Truth is it is anyone's guess how FSD is going to show up on the Cybertruck.

I'm thinking someone at Tesla read all the posts and said oh sh*t! how are we going to give them FSD if they are already on 2024.26 ? ?:ROFLMAO:o_O

Tesla Cybertruck Install 2024.26.3.1 or wait for FSD 12.5.x? 1722697119697-jt

Looks like 2024.21.5 has CT listed for 12.5.1.1. However, no CTs showing up on TeslaFI yet.

Those are the same notes for all the 12.5 releases so far. You are missing The "Upcoming Improvements:" at the top. Also note it says Models S3XY no CT.

Yep, however, it moved to 2024.21 vs 2024.20 - so creeping toward 2024.26

Yea I'm not sure what's up with .21 release seems like a bit of an outlier they must have changed something but the release notes don't give any clues. Bad news is it hasn't gone to HW3 yet either and of course no inclusion of what I now call the four bullets in the 12.5 release notes. I think we need to get the highway end to end before the next big release. Most of the new features for 12.5 haven't been released yet. So far just a couple of small point releases at some point we will get a major release with HW3, the "four bullets" and of course CT.

Honestly I think you'd be fine to update. They'll probably get the FSD stack on the most recent update whenever it's ready to ensure everyone gets it in the same rollout.

This is my prediction, the trucks running the older 2024. 20 are going to get FSD first for validation, along with Hardware 3. Then they're going to merge everybody onto the 2024. 26 branch. So the holdouts that aren't on the 2024. 26 are probably going to get it first. Which bums me out cuz I'm on the latest branch. I don't think it's going to be 6 months before they merge the branches.h

I agree. now if we all drive our trucks extra this weekend maybe that'll give them enough validation data to enable the feature. so let's get out there and drive! lol
I've been driving on it for weeks.
