I've had my Cybertruck AWD FS for about 3 months and absolutely love it except I have not adjusted to screen rearview mirror. I've decided to get a digital rearview mirror but installation scares me. I'd rather pay someone who's more likely to do a clean job and avoid big mistakes. Any recommendations for someone who can help in Northeast Florida. I'm in St. Augustine, but can travel an hour or so for this.

Also, I'm leaning toward the Hansshow but receptive to other ideas.

I appreciate your input.

The Hanshow is about an inch smaller than the TesStudio S92. The Hanshow piggybacks to the existing OEM rear view mirror, with silicon straps or the like, whereas the S92 replaces the OEM mirror.

In everyone that I’ve talked about digital rearview mirrrors with, to a “T” everyone of them likes the S92.

TesStudio mistakenly sent me an S8 version that is a lesser model of their S92 and I do not recommend the S8. After install it was very glitchy, jumping between screens on its own, and the screen size and resolution were sub-par.

I’ve not actually installed the Hanshow so my comments on that company’s rearview are all 2nd or 3rd hand. Some people say they like it.

But everyone that I’ve talked to about the S92 likes it, especially now that it has a new wiring harness. The old wiring harness was causing the native Tesla software to give an audio speaker/tweeter alert. The newest harness that I installed almost a month ago has given off zero phantom software alerts.

Hope this helps! Too bad you aren’t near AZ.

I am like you, I couldn't get used to the rear view on the dash. I have the Hansshow and the newer version (I think they are calling it V2.5) is actually bigger than the s92. It replaces the OEM mirror - not strapped to it. It has the front camera built in so you just have to worry about running the cables for the rear and the power cable doesn't plug into the computer anymore, just a wire that is right behind the door sill trim. The install is really not difficult if you take your time. I did mine, didn't break anything, there are 0 wires showing (except the ones that physically plug into the top of the mirror). If you watch a video or two on it, you'll see it's really not hard. If I were closer I'd just help you do it, but I can't offer any advice on installers in Florida. If you decide to do it yourself we can walk you through that.

Yeah. @CT_AZ_4x4 and I have done this together almost 4 times now. lol.
Would gladly help.
S92 is the way in my opinion too.

Edit: In a recent thread I’ve been educated that the newest Hansshow version is also a problem free setup. Can’t attest to this myself but my opinion above is based purely on my experience.

Have you seen the new hansshow one? The bigger screen model. I really like it.
I have not seen it in person. I think it’s the same one as the new TLYARD one no?

Perhaps this really is something new like they claim.

I thought it was the Hansshow recycled. Grown a little skeptical of all these guys when they say they “produced” something new
I actually think this is a recycled version of the older model. They used to use the separate front camera and that triangle camera for the rear, but both of those were on an older version that was sold a while back.

Following. If anyone knows who can do installs in the Orlando area, please let me know. I'm past the DIY on your car stage of life.
