Got my Rez in Oct 2020 . I expected a two year wait… and I waited , until Jan 2022 , I deciding the real delivery date was more like 2024 and a $10k repair estimate to fix my current ride meant I couldn’t wait another two years for a new vehicle . I bought a new at the time 2022 4Runner with plans to sell it in two years when my Rez finally comes in . Now my problem is I like it . My second problem is my wife just bought a model Y and she likes it .

I plan on keeping my XT5 along with the CT for now. If y’all only ever do really short trips or are ok with charging, probably will be ok with going all electric. Aren’t there supposed to be some hydrogen vehicles coming out too?

There’s no hydrogen infrastructure to speak of. Teslas are great for long trips, about 20 minutes of charging for 2-3 hours of driving.

All the discussion s we’ve nad about EV range for CT and the hopes for a towable/haul able generator to get the extra range where there is no infrastructure.

Then people want hydrogen cars even though there is next to 0 hydrogen fill up stations anywhere. What will be next? A towable hydrogen plant that takes gasoline to generate electricity to separate hydrogen from water and then pressurize it for fuel use?

OMG people be cray-cray.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyd...er 2022, there,California, with one in Hawaii.

Or, as a good friend of mine likes to say "hydrogen fool cells"? Not really happening.

I suppose you could hydrolyze water using solar, but it’s easier to skip the middleman and just put the solar into a battery ?‍♂

I bought a Y recently. I like it too much, I am keeping both Y and CT for myself.
