I wrapped my truck when I got it in September, what does suck is that Tesla needs to replace my driver side door due to rattling & I was quoted $795 to wrap/tint the door afterwards & if your wrap is not available it can become an issue down the road. I almost wish I wrapped it myself & kept extra PPF on hand. Its a considerable cost on top of what I paid for color ppf + tint. I did get a top notch job done which I wouldn’t have accomplished as a 1st timer.

As with anything that remotely has political ties, there will be a disproportionate amount of false information spread solely for political reasons. I take stuff like this with a grain of salt.

yeah, seen that TT, and variations of it, so many times now. Stick to a reputable vinyl or PPF brand, and use a good installer. We've wrapped/unwrapped ours 4x now (testing stuff, I'm not that indecisive!). If you remove the PPF incorrectly, there will be a bit of residue left behind, which is easy enough to deal with, but can be entirely avoided by going slow and ensuring the PPF/vinyl warm (i.e. park it in the sun, lay a towel soaked with hot water etc etc).

Bought a new cyber truck here in Michigan and Buddy that does paint and Window Tint says he’s hearing you might not be able to wrap the cyber truck successfully because of it being stainless steel. Has anybody had any situations with wrapping it be becoming a problem I’m hearing taking it off. Could be the problem. Has anybody wrapped their cyber any problem with it? Also, if you’re in Michigan, where’s the best place to get it wrapped?
Yes, it wraps well. I did mine in vinyl with PPF on front facing items to protect against highway/rock damage.

I see you're in Brighton, thats about 50 miles from where I had mine done in Sterling Heights.

Send a DM and we can talk further if needs be.

The key is to select PPF rather than vinyl, which is a little more expensive and find a quality wrapper who has experience with Cybertrucks.
This does not matter - quality product is quality product

The problem with PPF is that you can't do cool things like I did on my tailgate. And it is atleast twice as expensive.

Not only is is OK to wrap, it MUST be wrapped if you want it to be clean and fingerprint/smudge free. I wrapped mine with clear PPF 2 weeks after picking it up. It's impossible to clean otherwise.
