Is this HVAC noise normal

I’m wondering if this is a normal operational sound for the HVAC. This is my first EV, so when I hear a new-to-my-ear sound I have no idea whether it is abnormal or not.

I can hear it while driving, and today I also heard it running in the garage, and after some playing around with the controls I figured out it’s the HVAC system because it goes away as I toggle A/C off.

It’s coming from the front, and gets louder as you get closer to the driver side wheel.

Just got my CT Wednesday. I have the same noise on mine and I think it is the A/C. What I think I’ve found is if you open a door and A/C system comes on and starts cooling the interior. Might be the way I have the controls set, or maybe it’s always when you open door. But, if I go in and feel the vents, it’s running.
