If this bugs you just get a mat. They make sectioned ones too where you can pull the mat out halfway and sweep everything out. Keeps things tidy.

Unfortunately it is normal, and it is why the CT gets a lot of hate for not being a "real truck"
If you haul truck stuff, dirt, gravel, and especially HAY it will get down in between those cracks and potentially be an issue for the compressor etc.
