I got my VIN this morning. Did what I could in the app ( insurance, etc ) and then reached out via text to just confirm that everything is okay on my side and nothing else is needed. They confirmed and then asked them for an ETA. They told me that it was scheduled to be at the service center April 13th and they cannot schedule a delivery date until they receive it. The earliest I could get it is April 14th.
You ordered back at the end of January, right? Seems like quite the wait as many who ordered on Feb have already taken delivery. Makes it hard to predict what's going on.

Yeah that’s the issues. Seems like there’s no real rhyme or reason to who gets the CT

Some delivery centers are horrible. One drive car for two weeks.

The average is like 9-14 days between VIN assignment and someone reaching out to schedule delivery according to the https://cybertruck.vin sheet

Speaking of communication…

I’m puzzled by the amount of mis-information, conflicting information and sheer lack of information in this process.

Got my VIN 10 days ago (on the 90th day since config). Talked by phone to a Tesla rep last weekend and was told our CT is en route to the SC in Lynnwood WA. Happened to be in Lynnwood today so stopped by and asked a rep in person. He looked up the VIN and said it shows the CT is still in Austin. And that I should expect delivery in another month or so. What???!!!

I really think they are making this stuff up. Why the lack of transparency?

Meanwhile, I’m currently having another car shipped from AZ and can track its location every mile of the way, including where the transport driver spent the night!

Fingers crossed that the quality of the CT build doesn’t match the quality of the communication.

My VIN showed up three days ago and NO communication from Tesla.... Is this normal? No text, no phone calls, no messages.....
That’s pretty standard for Tesla based vehicles on my experience. I got a VIN assigned (Cyberbeast) on 3/21 and heard nothing from the original 12/8/23 order date. I went to my local Tesla and eventually they told me it was still in Austin. A few hours ago I got a call saying the truck had arrived and they wanted me to take delivery ASAP. I waited over a year for my last Model X. I heard nothing during that time. Randomly, I got a VIN one night followed by a text the next morning that if I didn’t take possession in two days it would go to another customer. That’s pretty much how they roll and you can choose to accept it or not it seems. I keep buying ?

Yes, it's normal. People are taking deliveries 11+ days from receiving VIN. If you get it sooner, it's a truck someone declined to take delivery. I have VIN since 3/22 and my Cyberbeast is landing at the service center tonight. My pickup is Friday. Tesla texted me for the very 1st time today.
did you pickup 4/5 ?

Yes, I did. Drove it straight to the tint shop. Got it tinted. I haven't shared any pictures because I'm not happy with the way the stainless steel looks.

Look at my ugly doors! I have not driven my truck for 7 days. Last Saturday, took it to a ski trip, and it's been sitting since.

Your doors do not match the rest of the truck.
