Wow, the trend needs to start reversing or jan orders are going to be missing march delivery. 72 days puts my 1/10 order at march 22nd. But we were at 61 days a couple of weeks ago, so it's gone up. In another couple of weeks we'll be at 82 days unless the trend reverses
The data in your post only represents the trend of orders in CA/TX. Even for FL, the sample data is still too small. In term of other states… because of literally no data and more heavily on location logistic, it is no way to get a even meanful guesstimate.
correct, but its all we got this forum in general is a tiny sample size and not meaningful compared to the overall, but the numbers are similar so its good enough
Agreed. This forum has been a blessing for knowledge and insight. Talking to anyone at Tesla SC or by phone is like communicating with someone who just found out that iPhones exist, but knows nothing about them or even if they are “real.” I would say estimates from people here are tremendously more accurate than ones from anyone at Tesla (sans top brass and people on the production line).
Nevertheless, i do think you did a good job and the estimate trend is very useful for the people in CA/TX. Like the Tesla itself, your chart will be getting better over time. Till then, let's just chill ?
