Maybe they will send VIN’s out in masses today! I just look forward to seeing Joe’s GFT videos each day. It’s like a kid looking inside a toy store window when it’s closed. So many trucks and no one is getting a VIN???

Yeah that’s how it feels…I haven’t found one VIN assignment today.

What is your assigned delivery location? If Plano, I can try and get some info on when more will be arriving, which may shed some light on VIN assignments.

that’s a good question! I’m not sure how many deliveries have been out of your location, but I know there’s been quite a bit in the Plano location. I originally was going to do the Fort Worth location as it’s a bit closer to me but they said to keep the Plano location..

Almost no VINs today, looks like Tesla has changed it's strategy. Probably too many VINers clogging the customer service lines. Hopefully this means Vin>Delivery will be a matter of days from now on.

Don't know that I agree about that. Vins have been recorded usually late in the day. Not just because they are assigned late, but because some people have actual jobs and can't check/post until after the work day.

I was at the Fort Worth location this weekend and they said they’re not doing deliveries. I’m 72 days in and not sure if moving locations is a good or bad idea ?

Sure, but lack of known vin assignments doesn't mean that somehow we know they have changed their logistics to assign vins later in the process. We just heard a rumor of that happening a week or two ago. Why would we think that it's happening again now?

If they want to stop people from trying to contact them, all they have to do is put an eta in the app, like every other vehicle that they have released in the last 5 years has had.

Because if you followed the factory videos in recent weeks you can see that when the outbound lots are full folks here start getting Vins in higher frequencies. Not the case yesterday or today.
Just a theory while I refresh the app all day
