Day 82, nothing. And in typical fashion, Tesla service reps useless. If my 60 day loan expires before I get a loan, I’m pulling out. This is getting stupid…
Yup do it Teach Tesla a lesson…

Obviously that’s not what I’m doing. I’m not that myopic and out of touch to think anyone is teaching them a lesson. But it’s a problem that Tesla hasn’t addressed since 3 ramp - communication with its most important people, the customers. We’ve gone through the purchase of 3 Teslas in the past, including early 3 res.

Hehe chill brother, not just Tesla it is the problem with every other manufacturer. Btw don’t cancel it Cybertruck is an amazing vehicle don’t miss it. I have been waiting for 4 years where I have leased two vehicles instead of purchasing it because I wanted this car.

A little insight I learned with doing 3rd party fundning.

1. When you go to the finance portion of the final payment its not the most friendly. When it says to upload an image of proof of payment, you are supposed to upload a photo of your dealer funding request form.

2. once you have uploaded the dealer funding request form, you also must email it to [email protected]

I went through these steps on Friday at the service center when I finally got my VIN and now picking up my cybertruck this afternoon @ 4PM

OK! I TOOK DELIVERY OF MY CT!

Delivery was originally scheduled for Thursday March 28, however the night prior Tesla SA texted stating there was a light on the dash that needed checking. They ended up assigning a new CT for me (the new CTs VIN was 500 units higher at 41xx than my original CT at 36xx). I took Delivery yesterday, Sunday March 31 in Colma south of San Francisco.

I was REALLY impressed by the build quality. No wavy stainless panels, gaps and offsets are great.As a comparison, when we took delivery of our MYP a few years ago, I had a punch list of 13 items that needed addressing.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the package. This thing is beast and inspires invincibility complexes, yet drives in a docile manner. I got used to the steering within a few minutes. Simply incredible. The future is today, fellas.

Update on my side:

Bay Area
Jan 20 order date
RN11284
VIN Date 3/18
58 days Order--->VIN
Delivery Date: 3/28 Colma, SF Bay area
10 days VIN---> Delivery

Truck was technically available for pickup on Day 7 after VIN, however, had to push delivery a few days due to travel.

I uploaded my current insurance, which does not include the CT. I think that’s ok as thats what I’ve done for my other 3 Teslas. Now for the payment, it’s asking for copy of the final check but I was waiting for something formal from Tesla to give my bank so they can cut the check. I know the detail is in my app but I’m pretty sure my bank wont take a screenshot. Any advice on this? Can I simply give my bank the VIN number and they will know the final number?
