Rogan's video podcast segment on the Cybertruck:

Rogan previously got a private showing of the Cybertruck and got to take it for a spin.

Bill Gates mistake is in thinking that mosquito nets and malaria vaccines will save the world.... I don't know how his thinking became so convoluted.

In that will immediately solve a massive amount of hardship and loss?

Seems laudable, honestly. Even if we solved climate change fifty years ago, we'd still be fighting malaria. It's one of those diseases that doesn't need us to keep going.

If only that was the only stupid thing that Billy-boy has done.

I find it too shortsighted.... Elon is right that humans need another home, just in case. saving 100 000 people from malaria won't help if an asteroid strikes

I thought gate was shorting Tesla and SpaceX was private.

I think we can do both (fighting malaria on mars).

p.s. I can't believe the dude has never seen a picture of CT (min: 52).

It's not short sighted. It's just a different task. Solving disease is not less important than space flight. It's more immediate, but it's not a choice of one or the other. We can do both. We should do both.

The BEST thing about being retired is that NEVER again can I be forced to use a Windoze box (as opposed to *nix).

agreed.... but I think Mars is more important as that's the insurance policy against our possible extinction..... not a mosquito net.

Let the gross poors of the world deal with that stuff!

Get my affluent white ass to Mars, STAT!

What’s left of ‘humanity’ needs to persist!

Mars colonization won't save anyone currently living. People currently living may help with Mars colonization. Ergo, we should save as many who are currently living (especially young people) to help make sure Mars colonization happens.
