It's iffy, the trailer aux is 30A max without e-brakes, 20A otherwise. A dead battery can/will pull more than that and trip the overcurrent protection.
I agree, wouldn't risk this when you have a perfectly good 20 & 40 amp circuit in the truck bed.

Buy an A/C powered jump box.

I agree, wouldn't risk this when you have a perfectly good 20 & 40 amp circuit in the truck bed.

Buy an A/C powered jump box.
For clarity, those are roughly 10x and 40x the peak power. 13.5V vs 120V vs 240V.

I wouldn't try this without fully understanding how the truck protects the circuit from pulling too much current. At the very least, I'd hack the cable to put a fuse in just slightly less than what the truck is specified to supply.

I've stressed the auxiliary trailer feed with a dead battery and winch a few times. The module is fed 48V and outputs 13.5V so it likely has a current limited buck converter in it. If so, there is a low chance of damaging it.
