We took delivery today and drove it home (~15miles) and plugged it in to charge.

After we parked and spent some time outside the car admiring it, we noticed some liquid slowly dripping from the front of the car and also our front seats seem unfinished. Are these normal?

The liquid is likely condensation from your HVAC. Touch it and see if it feels like water or another fluid and if it has an odor...
The seat cover just clips back on underneath. You can do that yourself easy. My MS used to do that all the time, service just sorta crimped it down a little to keep it from popping off all the time...

thank you! Felt like water and was odorless. Snapped the seat covers back in and it definitely took a little elbow grease. Thanks for your help!

If you have any other issues, just create a Service Request in the app and Tesla will take care of it.

Congratulation and welcome to the club.

Maybe the newer v2 CT will have 360 webbing underneath to hold the seat covers in place?!

I found it necessary to place a water pan under truck. It drops water like a race horse.

It shouldn't be that dissimilar than most other vehicles. And yes, my wife has a drip pan under her Model Y because the garage is slopped badly on her side.

Where are your floor mats?
When I took delivery of Cyberbeast there was an extra set of floor mats. The rubber ones which are hard to clean and are great for construction sites or snow. And these which are incredibly durable and easy to clean. I brush away the particles using a microfiber towel.

FK yeah, you got eagle eyes ... what are those floor mats ... looks way different than out rubber ones ...
These are the ones they came with. Assumed they were the “carpet” ones. Interesting material to say the least as they aren’t really carpet. Very performance like material for the needs of a truck. Rubber mats were in the bed. Haven’t had a chance to switch them out yet as we’ve been enjoying the car!
