I live in an area full of retired and elderly folks and was driving down this road when 2 kids attacked my truck with water bottles, of which one hit my side view mirror and cracked it open. Fortunately, i was able to snap the mirror casing back together.

I guess there is no age limit to the haters out there.

And immediately into the trail. At least they weren't just Cybertruck haters, they likely were just looking for any vehicle to drive by to attack and you were a perfect target.

Man, this sucks. In your pics there looks to be water already on the road - as if these young fellas had been doing this for a while before you rolled up. Perhaps just run of the mill idiots, not targeted? Which makes me think law enforcement has a good idea of who they may be.

To be perfectly honest, when I was a preadolescent, My friend Jason and I would run through fields to get to our special 'hiding place' and throw rotten apples at passing cars. It was absolutely thrilling until the fire department got involved (and then parents). We got our asses whooped and then whooped again (plus chores). I'm guessing that this sort of "cause and effect" doesn't happen as much as it should anymore and it wasn't even that long ago (or so it seems).
That being said, I had someone throw a bottle of water at me (bounced off of the top of my windshield) while I was in the left turn lane with my CB.

Don’t care, still press charges. Normal kids don’t do this. Without punishment they will only get worse and eventually hurt someone.

I doubt they were hiding in the bushes waiting for a CYBERTRUCK to come along to throw water at... I think they were hiding and waiting for ANY vehicle to come along... Who knows how many other cars/trucks got hit and many probably didn't even know it!

I had a similar thing happen on a highway out in the Apple Valley area (CA) at night... Driving along (in my 2017 Dodge Charger SRT) and all of a sudden the windshield was hit by something... I turned back and found the 'item'... A softball!!! I doubt it was floating in the air and there was NOBODY around out on the 138 at 9pm...
