I don't know if this is the solution we are looking for, but it's worth monitoring.

I built this and it'll work on the Cybertruck! I actually developed it on my Model Y and Cybertruck. For the truck it just needs a simple standoff plate that we're making for all pickups and some other cars that need it too. The pump has a crazy amount of power. Check it out working on a F150...

Feel free to ask me any questions here.

Do you have a picture of it on a Cybertruck? I'm just curious how far out the plate will stand. Great idea.

I can take some later today. I pulled the prototype off because we have a launch party today!

It takes away most of the “step” with the standoff because it needs to shoot backwards to hit the camera. It’s worth the trade IMO though.

So the tag is kinda out toward the end of the bumper? If I sponsor, how do I let you know I need the extender?

Exactly. The edge of the plate is just near the edge of the bumper.

If you pre-order on Kickstarter we'll supply the standoff. Before we ship we're going to check what car everyone is using it on...

Hey thanks for replying. Its great that the actual designer is available to answer questions and stand behind their product.

Couple questions,

1. Any fluid or battery low indicators?

2. Will the battery really last a season regardless of temperature? How long is a season 3 months?

Looking forward to the pics as I had these same questions and may have to pull the trigger.

There is also this:

https://www.clearvucam.com/store/p/teslacybertruck

Of course the installation is much more involved, running tubing from the frunk to the rear, drilling a hole in the stainless steel tailgate etc, the plus is, no seperate reservoir or battery to charge, but a more difficult and time consuming install.. price is similar, if you ignore labor :)

1) The indications on the remote will be fluid EMPTY (it can tell when the motor spins up) and battery low.

2) The battery really lasts 6+ months in the cold (it's extremely oversized to account for 50% capacity loss which us truck owners know about). The fluid reservoir will be around 4 months based on usage. It's approx 200 "shots" per tank.

The standoff adaptor will be the largest of all of them on the CT most likely. It's basically a plastic rectangle with passthroughs for longer screws from my backplate. It's not really visible straight on but you can def see it looking down at this angle...

Is it possible to extend the nozzle, and leave the frame mounted where it normally is? For the Cybertruck, it looks like your mounting it at least 5-6" off the bumper.. maybe use a square plastic tube extending off the unit with the washer nozzle at the end? Just an idea for the truck/SUV market..
