Is it possible to extend the nozzle, and leave the frame mounted where it normally is? For the Cybertruck, it looks like your mounting it at least 5-6" off the bumper.. maybe use a square plastic tube extending off the unit with the washer nozzle at the end? Just an idea for the truck/SUV market..
You need it extremely stable like the existing nozzle. If you extend it you'd have to tack it down somewhere. i have thought of flexi CNC coolant style nozzles but they'll lose their aim!

For transit vans I might make an adaptor that clips onto the end of my nozzle and feeds upwards because it's 8ft high.

The standoff adaptor will be the largest of all of them on the CT most likely. It's basically a plastic rectangle with passthroughs for longer screws from my backplate. It's not really visible straight on but you can def see it looking down at this angle...

Sticking out that for is a no go for me. Still a fantastic solution for other vehicles though. I guess mine will be gifts and I will have to stick with the clearvu

Definitely interested - I'm in Edmonton where the streets are covered in snow and mud 6 months of the year and the rear camera lasts about 2 blocks before getting blocked.

Not sure I can see the standoff clearly, but is there a gap between the truck and the plate? Any aero effect (does it create either pressure or a vacuum on the repositioned plate, and if so, what's the impact?)? Just concerned about the cumulative pressure leading to the license snapping off.

Also, how often do you figure the aim needs to be recalibrated? Can I take a 5 hour trip on rough road without having to stop to adjust it?

I’m likely to order. A couple more questions.
Can it be used while rolling at highway speed or do I have to stop?
I use automatic car washes. Will it be ok in there?

It works fine in automatic car washes! You might have to readjust the sprayer if it gets knocked out of alignment but that’s it.

At highway speed it won’t work well. Too much slipstream on the spray.

Thanks!
