I read that Outokumpu of Finland is the SS supplier.

That is a very reassuring story! It brings new meaning to the phrase, "Don't worry, that'll buff right out!".I can provide anecdotal evidence of the CyberTruck's strength.
Shortly after I got my CT back in May of 2024 I was in an accident (I believe the driver who hit me was distracted because he was staring at the vehicle ... those of you who had an early CT remember the insane amount of attention).
Driving on the freeway, I was in the center lane and an SUV in the left lane noticed too late that traffic ahead of him had stopped and when he did notice he swerved into my lane to avoid the stopped vehicles in front of him. In the process he impacted the side of the CT with his front right wheel and front bumper on the right corner. The impact was severe enough to puncture his radiator and detach the bumper from his vehicle. Fortunately the entire impact was directly on the stainless steel panels around the driver side and didn't hit any of the plastic parts.
On my vehicle there was absolutely no denting or really any other evidence that I had been hit at all. The only thing wrong with the CT was that the wheel from the other vehicle left some scratches in the finish. My insurance paid me $1500 for "paint repair" which I pocketed and then used my random orbital sander to fix the scratches.
I usually demo with a donkey kick…Last month I demonstrated the dent resistance of the Cybertruck to my sister-in-law who had stopped by to deliver some veggies from their garden. She was skeptical of why people liked the Cybertruck, since it had such an odd appearance.
I looked around for something handy, all I saw was a broken rectangular terra cotta planter about 2 feet long lying in the dirt. It weighed a few pounds and had slightly rounded but mostly square corners. Using a similar motion to the wind-up of the Olympic hammer throw event, I propelled it into the middle of the door panel as hard as I could from about 5 feet away. It made a loud crashing sound as it broke into 8 or 10 pieces and bunch of smaller shards. I then wiped the terra cotta dust away and said, "See, no damage".
She looked a little confused, and then impressed. Being at a loss for words, she said, "I can see why people like them" as she continued to process what she had just witnessed. This impact would have collapsed a regular door panel, all the way to the anti-intrusion beam, and left a huge crater/dent, and paint damage, that would have allowed any steel underneath to start rusting orange.
You can tell people how tough the Cybertruck is and they will forget what you said by the end of the day. Demonstrate it in this kind of dramatic fashion and they will remember it for a very long time.
I will not be throwing one of my wife's plant pot at it, but I will repeat this story.Last month I demonstrated the dent resistance of the Cybertruck to my sister-in-law who had stopped by to deliver some veggies from their garden.
