I was getting anxious of not receiving any sort of communication from Tesla on the light bar that is supposed to come included with my Cyberbeast, so I requested a service call to get it installed, and they took me on right away. Seems like you have to request it rather than sitting waiting for them to book you in. Saying that, and to my surprise, at least in Canada they will get it installed but will not make the electrical connection??? For what I understand the light can be so bright that government regulations would not allow them to properly install it, so the way around is to leave it up to you to connect it or not since it is supposed to come as an accessory with the Cyberbeast... Oh Canada!

Correct, Tesla service centers are restricted from completing the electrical connection due to legal constraints. The reasoning ties into road-use regulations—since the light bar is extremely bright, it’s classified as an off-road accessory rather than a street-legal feature in many regions, including Canada and the U.S. To comply with these rules, Tesla installs the light bar physically, but leaves it unplugged, with blackout film applied to prevent accidental use on public roads. They then provide the necessary parts and instructions for owners to connect it themselves or through a third-party mechanic if they choose to use it off-road.

Bright, and mounted too high off the road.
