Hmmm…. Wonder what “when they work means”. Looking at the installation guide in the service manual indicates they mount with double stick tape…. Seems ok at first BUT my MTB LEDs get really hot…. I bet these do to so maybe the mounting plan with double stick tape can’t handle the heat?

Oh ? I hope not! I would think they would mount to the top bracket where the power cable for them are. I know 3M tape is super strong (used to mount the windows to the Burj Khalifa) but still not what I would expect to be used on a moving vehicle...
