Loan Expired had to re-apply

Hi all, this is my first post. I received the configuration e-mail on Jan. 2nd, and now it looks like my loan application expired, requesting I reapply. Has this happened to anyone else waiting for their VIN assignment? I'd hate to have a hit on my credit again, or even worse, to have to do it again in 30 days. ?

Don't do it, I was told to wait until you get your VIN then apply. Because it expires after 60 days on the Tesla app I was told. Credit decision takes minutes. I'm literally going to possibly miss my truck due to this situation myself...and the rep made me feel stupid for seemingly not knowing this ..I've never bought a Tesla. I assumed after 4 years and it saying delivery Dec-Feb then I was told to go, since it was asking me to complete the step to not delay delivery.

I had the same thing happen in December. Making matters worse, the rates went up in January. Bank of America told me they only do 30 day locks.

I was able to get a 90 day lock from Navy Federal Credit Union.

Ah crap, I was thinking if I didn’t reapply, then my vin would be delayed. Live and learn, hopefully the dang vin gets assigned soon. Being a day-one first-minute reservation seems like it’s not holding any weight.

Speaking of reps, the one that has been reaching out to me regarding CT is by far the worst one I’ve spoken to, and we’ve purchased 3 previous teslas, including a 3 during the initial ramp. Anyone have a great way of getting a better rep? I may head down to our local service center and find someone there. That worked/helped before.

According to the rep I spoke to, there is no need to reapply until the final steps near delivery.
With respect to your credit hits, I most definitely wouldn’t reapply until you speak to Tesla to ensure they wont have to pull again.
