Front bumper with skid plate for less than $500!
It doesn’t have any reviews yet, but looks slightly promising than the $3,000+ options on here so far. Yes? No?
(Of course I imagine you get what you pay for.)

reasonable price but...it comes from china. If it doesn't fit, good luck getting a refund, without costing a fortune to return it. And the quality is unknown. I didn't even see what the bumpers are made of...?
edit-carbon steel. Hmmm...

A bunch of sellers have popped up on Ebay lately offering free shipping and free returns. I almost pulled the trigger to be a guinea pig but the deal seemed too good to be true. I have searched all the China sites looking for these but cannot find them. Which makes me wonder if they are real.

They are being sold by a reputable company. I am sure these are fine as this company also sell front bumpers for Jeeps with avg 4.5 rating..

I gotta say, I don’t hate it. For this price I might have to pick both of them up. I think the more mainstream third parties are making them too ornate.

My only complaint is that I’m not loving all of the rivets. Also, concerned about what would happen in a crash and voiding the warranty.

Very interesting though.

I asked them if the front bumper allows for the washer to be moved as well, and they said :

"Sorry, our product is not supported it. Thanks"
Well. It seems like all our washers are belong to them now. Dang it! ?

I got a cheep set of bumpers for my wife's jeep. She NEVER goes anywhere just likes the look. Surprise, they are very stout. Heavy duty. I don't know if these are same but if they are they are stronger than stock....

Anything would be stronger than the plastic we got from Tesla, but I’m concerned about changing the crumple zone characteristics and how that might affect the batteries etc. in a crash.

Also because of the four-wheel steering I had a similar situation to the TFL guys while towing and because the bumper is plastic and the spare tire on my trailer is what actually made contact with the bumper I have absolutely no damage if it was a metal bumper it would certainly have been bent.

Trade-offs for everything. More likely than not for all of my big talk here what I’ll probably do is keep the stock bumpers until they start to inevitably fade from the UV out here in this desert and then swap them out with something else at that point.

Exactly. I was expecting those companies / fabricators to be the ones we’d turn to for reasonable cost bumpers and options. No need to reinvent the bumper, just the steel molds. Ha
