Looking at adding a power wall and a power share to my home and business. Used Tesla website to find some installers and it seems not many know what they are doing on this topic. Has anyone had luck with a power share especially in Michigan. If you have any recommendations please send on over. I have one installer saying they have oden them and the other says not available in Michigan yet? Please help...THX

"The Green Panel" is one of Michigan’s premier certified Tesla Powerwall installers, with over 1,000 installations completed (The Green Panel Powerwall). They are also experienced with PowerShare.

If you are getting a PowerWall you do not want the 3V gateway (which was free for FS). Instead say you don't want the free equipment and redeem for $2500 shop credit.

PW installations will be Powershare enabled with a softwares update this year. With PW and truck connected you get the equivalent of 10 PowerWalls storage and almost 100Amp service. Instantaneous switchover.

The labor to install 3V equipment is similar to labor for PW install. Just a different gateway. And quick plug in of PW. So maybe like 4-5K labor to install limited 3V gateway with no tax credit. PW3 installation is about 15K less 1/3 tax credit, so about 10K. And add back 2.5K shop credit for declining FS included equipment. So about 7.5K compared to less capabilities with 4-5K for 3V route.

With PW install, you've already got the backbone for adding solar panels. Just install on roof and plug into PW.
