I've got a few assorted issues I've been collecting for the last six months including the cant rail recall and also recently noticed my rear seat belt retractor on the passenger side isn't retracting with the same forcefulness, somehow the belt seems to be twisted down deep (at least that's my guess). Other items on the list if you don't care to watch:

- extra slat for tonneau cover to hopefully provide better protection against water intrusion in the bed
- wireless charger replacement
- spare tire install (yes, I already own one, don't need a second but had to burn off my Powershare voucher - DM if you're interested in one in the greater NJ/NY/PA/CT area).

Estimated time in service is 3+ days with...wait for it...no transportation assigned. I also have to take my Model Y in tomorrow as I've been waiting a month on a windshield replacement. Also no transportation assigned. Hurray for me.

FYI, the extra tonneau slat will NOT fix the water ingress at the rear window. What needs to be done is replacing the foam strip with a rubber weather strip where the tonneau applique meets the roof glass.

Did you get this done at the dealership? or a DIY?

By "this" I'm assuming you're referring to the weather strip. I didn't even ask bc I've read they won't do it. It has to be DIY.

I did have the tonneau slat added at the service center.

I had the extra slat added and it did not fix the leak. Im going to do the DIY weatherstrip fix.

Also, I thought the wireless charger fix was not actually fixing anything.

Just got back from the service center, was told there is no fix for the wireless charger (despite visual evidence here to the contrary) and they will mark my cant rails as repaired -- but will not be repairing/replacing them in this visit since they do not have the parts. eh? Then don't mark it as done.

Waiting to see how they opt to "install" my spare wheel and tire when I already have a Tesla spare wheel and tire installed in the bed.

On the flip side, after being notified in the app that no loaners were available the service advisor appealed and handed off a new Model X - no one has ever used it, 8 miles on the odometer. So there's that.

geez, 8 miles on the odometer is wacky. does it smell new? enjoy the new loaner!

I had similar issues with the rear seat belt. also I think mine was mounted wrong and on one of my visits I believe they undid and rebooted the bottom bolt so the belt was facing the right direction. but it's very easy for the seat belt to fold while retracting in the assembly.

The loaner is new, new. Smells new, still has the protective plastic that they neglected to remove from all parts of the interior. Can't complain there.

Now that you mention it, my rear belt is twisted so I think it may also need to be unbolted and flipped.

Any my squeaking wheel could not be replicated on the test drive with the tech - of course.

Taking my Model Y in today for a broken windshield, anyone get two loaners at once?
