Good question. For the cars at least you had to buy it separately after a certain date.

I highly recommend having both a mobile charger, and a wall charger.

I have been a fan of keeping a mobile charger in all my Tesla's for over 8 years now. But I'm re-thinking that need. Because I can't remember the last time I actually used one on a road trip. I think it's been over 6 years.

As the Supercharger Network expands, the need to get creative with charging diminishes. It could still be handy for charging if you go to friends or relatives house overnight but all it really does is replace a Supercharger stop before you arrive there (and saves you a couple of bucks mooching off your in-laws electricity, LOL!).

Yeah I agree. Supercharging 100% for on the road travel. Mobile connector for topping up at destination, or in a weird pinch where I need juice.

I keep and have used my mobile charger-when traveling to visit friends:family who don’t have an EV charger. Pretty much everyone I know still drive ICE vehicles! I end up “having” to use my mobile charger however I most places I could just supercharge…BUT it feels SATISFYING to actually use the little guy every now and then!
