Announce S Plaid today, deliver 25 units tonight. Apply the same pace for the CT!

I started to drool a bit with desire.

Elons comment about 350 kw charging eventually gives us some good insight about the eventual charge rate for the CT

The system learning and geo-location notation both excites and is ambitious.

Done rIght, cool, any issue, fodder for haters.

The yoke steering, the 187 mile Supercharging in 15 min, the ventilated seats and ventless air con, the POWER CURVE(!), the drag co-eff, the "new battery pack" (new config? 4680's?), ......, I'm not in the market for the S but I see promising CT stuff for the future. Can't wait for the new S drive and review videos.

Oh, and, the safety ratings.................

Was hoping for a longer event with more tesla wide updates. It's great to see how far the Model S has come and we can be sure that the Cybertruck is going to be just as spectacular since that's what Elon said his daily driver is going to be. No way is he going to be driving around in a vehicle that's second best.

I'm really hoping the Cybertruck gets the same gaming performance as the Model S. The fact that it can play Cyberpunk at 60 fps is pretty insane for a vehicle infotainment system. Finally I will have something to do when my wife wants me to take her shopping; just wait for her to start trying on stuff and then slip out to the truck until she realizes i'm gone.

That was the only CT reference of the evening, which I am happy with. That means there is a lot of CT update to cover and after a year and a half of silence, we may get something worthy of our patience (not as much mine as yours)

They say timing is everything, what was up with the timing of this event?
Why wait till so late in the evening to have that short event?

My guess? They wanted it to be dark so they could simulate the plaid imagery as Elon started driving on the track.

Unfortunately the live feed didn’t work so well and the lighting (while nice) didn’t really show so much as plaid.

Nice attempt at showing a marketing theme even though it didn’t really work so well.
