Molle panel in frunk. My favorite upgrade!!!

I just installed this and absolutely love it. I am worried about the frunk motors wearing out do to extra weight. Any thoughts from the group?

Nice... I gotta move out of NJ... You drive around like that over here and you'd get life. You have the warranty if something happens to the motors.

This is way more badass then my clamshell foam leftovers. Just don't hit the frunk open too soon and be nearby for tactical deployment!

No problems on the weight so far, I have a small fire extinguisher mounted on my frunk upper molle panels, along with some other bags and accessories. I mounted the Not-a-flamethrower on the lower panel, just to be safe.

I have molle under the lid. I found the Frunk motors to be a bit soft with any kind of load. I only keep light first aid supplies there now.

I think people have experienced their struts slowly closing on their own before the owner attempts to close the frunk. I’m having my struts replaced next service appointment. The frunk will not stay open when more than about 15 pounds are suspended on frunk Molle panels.

It will close if you apply a load force.. as intended.. this is not rocket science.
