At first I didn’t plan on spending the money for the Molle panels, but got inspired by your set up.

This is my current setup…

Driver Side:
Breaker bar (might put in the gear locker or somewhere else later)
Coleman propane tank (removed during hotter summer weather)
Fire extinguisher
Water bottle with zip ties

Passenger Side:
Axe
Water bottles with strap ties

Everyone shows stuff mounted but nobody shows how the damn mounts are attached to the actual molle panel. None of them come with any instructions. I would like to see what's happening on the other side of the attachment. How did you secure the quick fists??

So what did you use to mount the quick fists to the molle? Do they require molle “nuts”? Like backing plate type things?
I’m assuming they are mounted to the aforementioned builtright industries backing plates?

Here is what I have mounted. I wanted to get emergency items closer to my reach without getting into the bed. I can move the valut divider closer to the tailgate when I'm not carrying anything in the bed. I can also reach the fire extinguisher over the edge if the truck is on Entry level and use the quick release.

I'm not going to load up all the panels or shelf. I have a bottle jack in a hard case and spare tire I will mount for road trips, but don't carry them on a daily basis.

I’ve used the BuiltRight ones these brackets from R4T. Several of them are designed where you put them through a molle opening and turn them 90 degrees to where they will “lock into place”. This allows you to remove mounts and set up different gear without having to remove the Molle panels

I had a photo I took of the backside after I had to remove one Molle panel to build a custom shelf. This photo was of the BuiltRight Molle nut.

I’ve also used the ones from TacMolle with their own panels. If you ever need an option for spacing an attachment out from the panel and/or something that might be a bit more secure, these work well.

Here’s a photo showing the different radius of the BuiltRight Molle nuts on the Tesla Molle panel. The R4T ones were a perfect fit from what I remember, I’ll grab one later.

I took a few more photos, hopefully this explains the quick fist mounting a bit better.

1. Run an appropriate length bolt through the quick fist.

2. Loosely thread a Molle nut onto the bolt.

3. Position the Molle nut through your Molle Panel.

4. Make sure the Molle nut is positioned where you want it and tighten down the bolt.

Essentially they’re attached with a “wedge” fitment.
