I used these track hook cleats. I didn’t want the vest to be fully suspended due to weight and this allowed me to use a single attachment point. Not sure I’ve settled on it as still need to try a few more ideas but so far so good as the Tough Hook just hangs on it.

Great catch on the water bowl and we also have a T Line that allows our GSD to ride in the back! Great minds must think alike as we love our Shepherds! PS. Used to live in Peoria!

I carry 2, both 9 lb Halotron. i have personally put out 2 car fires, a truck fire, a grass fire, and a bus fire. the grass fire used up my extinguisher and i had to finish with a shovel. that's why i now carry 2

and the biggest death in a Cybertruck was in Piedmont. 3 out of 4 kids died. it wasn't thermal runaway, just your average car fire, but they were trapped and the interior was on fire. so they died. Halotron would have put out that fire, and they would have lived.

when i was 16 i witnessed something. a man died right in front of me. trapped in a pool of gas, pinned under a motorcycle. He burned to death right in front of me. My mom wouldn't let me out of the car. I swore that day that i would never stand by again.

So yes i carry a fire extinguisher in an EV
So sorry that you experienced such a tragedy. I also carry fire extinguishers. On a hunting trip for elk (in our CT here in AZ) my son and I put out the beginning of a forest fire. We don’t know if it was man-made or caused by lightning, but we used everything we had including our fire extinguishers, shovel, and even Costco bottled water. Without the fire extinguishers we wouldn’t have put it out. I wish someone had done the same for the fire that ended up destroying our Grand Canyon north rim lodge. That place was magical and just amazing. And now the elk, deer, and buffalo herds on the north rim are without much of their habitat. It is going to be a cruel winter for those herds.

Yeah. It’s a real shame what happened up there.

Brilliant!
I am totally using this idea.

Any tips or lessons learned in mounting the molle to the panel? Are you happy with the location and sturdiness of the panel?

Being its not something you can walk into a local auto shop and grab, maybe a spare wiper blade?

Personally, I don't like the frunk molle as it's too easy to obstruct closure when other items are placed in it.

I've got the extinguisher, flashlight, first aid and tire repair kit on the inner sail wall
I was going to go with molle on the roof of the frunk, but my hand tool tote has just barely the clearance it needs even with the handle folded. So I think that molle will not happen.

Have the molle panels for the inside sail, so far with a broom attached along with some reserve bungies. Still looking for a good attachment method. Using the twist wires from NiteEyes for the broom. Have some monkey fists - but not the ones with the molle base. Looking for a way to convert them to molle base.

First, I really like your Raktical takRAK frunk molle panel set up, but $450 for just the 2 relatively small panels - the vertical back and horizontal bottom - not including the 2 side "fin" panels, shipping or tax, seems expensive? Perhaps it includes the normal CyberTruck pricing bump?

This is why I carry extinguishers also. Not only for me but for at least trying to help out with a bad situation. The cybertrucks have ample room to store some emergency supplies. Hell, a yellow hi-vis vest can be super useful in a tire changing situation on the side of the road. The little things are sometimes the most important.

These First Alert EZ Fire Spray extinguishers are kinda amazing. Easy to store, easy to operate. Fits in my door pocket.

Video here of a comparison, Brian's a stage fire eater.

I did post a write up on my site you can find here. Definitely measure 3 times and drill once😉

https://fabville.com/how-to-install-a-molle-panel-in-the-tesla-cybertrucks-frunk

The molle is quite sturdy with the quick disconnects, but the weight of the Super Scorcher has pulled the top driver side OEM panel clip out from the weight before. I’m going to try bending the metal clip to see if it will hold tighter and look at another option if needed.

this is what the quick disconnects look like with the molle panel removed.

What did you buy to attach the 4 wheeler above the bed?

I usually put my ATV in the bed but it's super tight and I can't close the tailgate. This looks much easier.
I don’t believe the rack is in production yet, but it’s from Raktical:

Thanks. I'll have to keep an eye out for whenever it comes out.

Not a fan of driving with the tailgate down and I don't know of a way to partially close the gate either.
It’s not a huge change, but you can connect your tailgate cables to the upper bolt. Might be some options to try and shorten a cable. I wonder if Tesla would sell a pair to modify.

How are they packed when shipped? Sealed? even leaving it at home is better than being out of stock if you need it.
I don't know, my wiper blade is still going strong after 16 months! I imagine new ones are not sealed, they probably just come in a long tube of plastic bag material.

I’m in a current “re-model” of our Molle/track system but if you’re asking… these will be part of any setup I land on. Still need to exchange the hangers for black though. This is the California compliant chest rig which means I have to run it basically empty, outside of plates. 😂. Now when we head back home to Nevada… that’s when they can be turned into something proper! 🤪
