I have 3 Cyberbeasts, 1 Model Y Juniper Performance, 1 Model 3 Highland Performance and a Zero SZF electric motorcycle. I have 4 Level 2 chargers, 2 solar systems totaling 21kW, and 7 Powerwalls totaling 98kWh 🤓

I think you win :ROFLMAO:

I'm also a solar + Powerwall owner, and debating 1 vs. 2 of the UWCs. My hesitation against going for two is... do we think (eventual) Cybertruck V2H will not work correctly with >1 UWC on the same circuit? I don't have enough capacity for dual 60A circuits, one for each UWC.

I have 3 charges, UWC and 2 gen 3 WC. The UWC is on its own circuit with the 2 Gen 3 on a shared power load.
My ‘24 CB has PowerShare that’s why it’s on its own separate circuit. I spent a few weeks with the electrician trying to make it work with load share on all 3 WC and after going over and over with him hoping it will work, he set me up with a separate circuit for my UWC.
I have 3 EV’s, a ‘14S, 23 XP, and the CB. I have solar but no powerwall. Again round and round with the electrician as to why I don’t want the power wall. He “wired” it all in so when the update is finally ready he can swap things out to make the powerwall work with my system.
Only regret I have is the speed of the charging for my S. Being a 14 it’s max is 75 kWh charging. So I never see more then 200 mph for more then a few seasons before it slows down. It’s free lifetime charging but that hour spent at the charger really sucks. That’s why I added the third WC.

I've had a grizzl-e duo plugged in for 4 years. Its kept 2 ioniq 5s charged all that time, and now my CT with an adapter. No issues.

We have 4 EV's here on the property with 3 of 4 chargers being true 'off grid' solar charging.

There are two Cyberbeasts, a model s plaid and a model 3 all pulling power power from here.

For charging we have 1 grid connected wall connector in the garage (connected to house system with powerwalls and solar)

Then we have 3 off grid solar setups. All with there own 60A wall connectors. (48A output)

The largest system is 150KWH of batteries with a 15KW solar ground mount array.

The second system in another building on the property is 112KWH of storage with 10KW of solar in process.

Lastly is my first off grid system which is a small setup of 32KWH of storage and 5KW of solar.

This went from a hobby curiosity to a sickness honestly, but it is fun to have unlimited power for all the cars here at the house and think nothing of KWH $$$ costs anymore (which can spike over 50 cents here during peak times in northern california) - its not economical by any means as far as a quick ROI. However, zero dependence on anyone but myself to power the cars (and the house & well pumps in emergencies) is a comforting thought.

In between work, kids and grand kids I have been trying to document some of this journey - here is a link to a channel I will be adding more content to -

https://www.youtube.com/@photonfarming

If you want to go off grid charging feel free to hit me up with any questions, if I can help others do it right the first time (instead of 3rd or 4th like me) I would be more than happy to :)

Refreshing to know there are others like me ;)

In NJ with a little less land but I've got 3 solar installs and battery backup. For me, doesn't make sense to use the batteries though as I have net metering and flat rate ~ 18 cents per KWH. The batteries I keep at 50% for if I ever lose power. Tesla did the solar install on my roof and enabled net metering. I did the shed and ground mount/batteries.

Use 2 NACs chargers. 1 in the garage and 1 on the shed for outside. 1 Cyberbeast, 1 Model 3 and 1 Model Y. Emporia and Tesla chargers.

Some pics. Same as above, if anyone is interested I'd be more than happy to share.

My situation: 2 Teslas (CT and Model 3).

2 gen 3 wall connectors splitting a 60a circuit. This is one of the nicest features the Wall Connectors have: being able to share / split a single circuit to charge two EVs at the same time.

We also have a Powerwall 3, and the one SUPER annoying feature that is lacking is: the inability to configure if the PW should be drained to charge my EVs. I want to be able to plug a vehicle in and have it automatically only pull from grid and solar. Netzero app offers this ability but only on the paid plan.

Nice setup! What is the spec on the inverters are you using?
https://www.mppsolar.com/v3/lvx6048/

They are a little older. Wouldn't do that now. Put the first one in 5ish years ago and added the second for 12kw of power a few years ago. They are hybrid which is why I chose them to begin with.

Pretty much issue free since installed.

@AWDMK4 @TarheelCT @Alpine - What are your plans?

Curious how other multi-EV households are handling home charging setups.

For those with 2+ EVs:

* What chargers are you using?
* Single circuit with load sharing or separate circuits?
* Wall Connectors, mobile chargers, NeoCharge, etc.?
* Any regrets or “wish I had done this differently” advice?
* How do you handle overnight charging schedules?

Would love to see real-world setups. Pictures welcome.

Apologies if this has already been discussed.
My setup is two separate circuits each with a Tesla wall connector. No sharing concerns and I have an 14-50 on the house exterior as a backup.

I have 3 Tesla currently charging at my house:
  • 2024 Cybertruck AWD
    • Charges on Universal Wall charger with dedicated 240v 60amp circuit
  • 2026 Model Y AWD
    • Charges on Gen 3 Wall charger with dedicated 240v 60amp circuit
  • 2022 Model 3 AWD
    • Charges on Gen 2 Mobile charger on 120v 20amp circuit
All chargers can work in simultaneously as I have 200amp service. No regrets.
