We've all heard about the reduced manufacturing costs associated with the casting machines and 4680 cell...Less robots, etc.

With all these costs saving, maybe the rumored $25K TESLA is the dual motor Cybertruck. ?

I’d love for this to be the case, but I think it’s unlikely. Most likely the 25k car will be much smaller and lighter so it can make use of the LFP blade batteries from BYD. (Or in house 4680 LFP cells, but if they can source the cells from BYD, I’m betting they will use the blade cells and keep their 4680 production dedicated to their own higher end cars.

At one time I thought we’d see a stainless mini-cyber car which would be the rumored $25k Tesla, but I don’t think that’s going to happen at this point.
